On Wednesday 5th July 2023, we launched our new Functional Neurological Disorder (FND) Case Management and Specialist Rehabilitation Pathways service. In a partnership between Proclaim Care and Brain & Mind we have developed a new approach to FND cases, focussing on delivering better outcomes.
FND has become more widely acknowledged and understood in the last few years. Proclaim Care, has widespread experience of FND cases. Many sent to us after a programme of therapies has been unsuccessful. We recognised that the traditional case management approach needed to be re-visited and following consultation with insurers, claimants and defendant solicitors, we have instigated the new service.
The launch took place at Aviation House in Holborn, London. The event was attended by approximately forty solicitors, insurers and other healthcare professionals. Outline of the service, the model, report format and outcomes were presented. Presentation was facilitated by Neil Irwin (Commercial Director of Proclaim Group), presented by Flora McMullon (Senior Rehabilitation Manager at Proclaim Care), Dr Micheal Dilley (Consultant Neuropsychiatrist at Brain & Mind) and Professor Mark Edwards (Consultant Neurologist at Brain & Mind).
FND service has been jointly developed by Proclaim Care and Brain & Mind.

Today is World Menopause Day (18th October). The day is designed to raise awareness of the menopause and to support options to improve health and well-being for women in mid-life and beyond. Proclaim Group have signed the Menopause Workplace Pledge.
This week we celebrated the first year anniversary of our London Case Management team. The London Team was set-up to provide dedicated case management services for our London and South-East based clients.
