The Proclaim Training Academy bi-annual CPD conference has been another great success. Thanks to everyone who supported us to deliver an outstanding conference for all our staff.
Our virtual sessions included:

- Assistive Technologies
- Functional Neurological Disorders
Our insurer customers provided great insight into their philosophies and approach to rehabilitation, with solicitors Rose Gibson, Simpon Millar; Jill Greenfield, Field Fisher and Claire Roantree, Boyes Turner sharing their thoughts on subjects including what makes a great case management.
Long Covid was presented by Anne Byrne, Jessica Osterloh and Linda Agnew from Obair Associates. This session was of particular interest with the challenges of supporting clients who have, or are experiencing, long covid symptoms.
Brain in Hand delivered an excellent session on their digital self-management support system for people who need help remembering things, making decisions, planning or managing anxiety. The sevice is not condition-specific and, by combining human support and digital self-management technology, Brain in Hand helps people live more independently.
Our final session on Functional Neurological Disorder was delivered by two of the UK’s leading Functional Neurological Disorder (FND) experts: Dr Michael Dilley, Consultant Neuropsychiatrist and Prof Mark Edwards, Consultant Neurologist. Together they have been responsible for the development of FND rehabilitation programmes, both in private practice and within the NHS, and the establishment of a charity which supports people with FND. This excellent session, which was attended by many of our customers, wrapped up another great Proclaim Group bi-annual conference.
