When the CEO says she’s going for a walk, this isn’t quite what most people had in mind… on 26th April 2026, six of our colleagues swapped their desks for tartan and took on the iconic Glasgow Kiltwalk.
Leading the charge on The Big Stroll (14.5 miles) were Laura MacKellar (CEO), Tracey Buchanan (CFO), Amy Landon (Head of HR) and Leslie Plenderleith (Head of Resolve Health). Meanwhile, Margaret Clarkson (Company Secretary) and Lynette Harris (Top IT Technician) tackled The Wee Wander (three miles).
Benefiting from some remarkably cooperative Scottish sunshine, the team marched their way from start to finish in support of our charity fundraising campaign, joining thousands of other fundraisers in a sea of tartan across Glasgow and the West of Scotland.
Of course, this wasn’t just a walk. It was miles of determination, teamwork, encouragement and, perhaps most importantly, the opportunity to wear a kilt without raising too many questions.
Together, the team supported our charity fundraising efforts while demonstrating that our senior leadership team is just as willing to put in the miles as they are the meetings. After all, you’re never too senior, or too sensible, to put on a kilt and walk for charity.
A huge thank you and congratulations to Laura, Tracey, Amy, Leslie, Margaret and Lynette for getting involved, embracing the spirit of the day and showing that when it comes to supporting great causes, no distance is too far.
Although, after 14.5 miles in a kilt, we suspect some distances feel far enough.
