Proclaim Group News Article
With the London Marathon 2026 only days away, Neil Irwin, our Commercial Director is on the road for the final training runs. Neil is running the race for Day One Trauma Support.
Day One Trauma provides full support for individuals with catastrophic injuries throughout the daunting process of recovery. They are there for people for as long as it takes, they believe that no one should be left to rebuild their life on their own.
Day One Trauma Support offers practical and emotional support to anyone who has experienced major trauma in the UK through their national support. Day One Trauma also provides bedside support in several Major Trauma Centres, and in other major trauma hospitals.
Neil is taking on this challenge to raise awareness and funds for Day One Trauma, helping ensure people affected by catastrophic injury can access the support they need.
Neil said, “Day One plays a crucial role in providing immediate support and guidance to those affected by trauma, helping them navigate their journey towards recovery. The need for such support is immense, as every day, countless individuals face the challenges that come with life-altering injuries. It’s a privilege to raise awareness and funds for this vital cause.”
Laura MacKellar at Proclaim Group: “Everyone at Proclaim Group is wishing our colleague Neil Irwin the very best as he takes on the London Marathon this weekend in support of Day One Trauma Support. Your commitment and determination throughout the training journey have been truly inspiring — good luck, Neil!”
