Obair Associates deliver Vocational Rehabilitation training – Assessing & Facilitating Return to Work

Proclaim Group, Obair Associates News Article

Last week (23rd November 2022), Ann Through the early weeks of June 2023, Obair Associates have delivered training on Vocational Rehabilitation – Assessing and Facilitating Return to Work to East Lancashire NHS Trust Occupational Therapists and Physiotherapists.

It was an interactive and engaging two days and our speakers Linda Agnew (Occupational Therapist, Obair Associates) and Anne Byrne (Obair Associates) managed to keep cool in the middle of a heat wave!

The two-day training course provided delegates with the knowledge and skills to recognise barriers and facilitators to Return to Work. The skills-based training focused on the assessment of function for work across all domains and the structured assessment of job demands to enhance skills in matching capacity to the demands of the job. The two days were concluded with how to engage employers and develop meaningful RTW plans and reports which consider both the employee and the employer’s needs.

Well done all involved!

The two-day training course was part of a package of CPDs that Obair Associates prepare and present.
We are looking to deliver the course later in the year.

Please contact us to discuss our CPD courses.
