This course is specifically designed for Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists and Nurses who are looking to enhance their skills in Vocational Rehabilitation.
On completion of this two day course, participants will be able to:
- Recognise the barriers and facilitators of return to work (RTW)
- Confidently assess function for work using objective measures
- Assess the demands of work and their impact on RTW
- Confidently match ability with job demands to facilitate safe and sustained RTW
- Develop effective and meaningful RTW plans
This course is delivered by two Occupational Therapists who each have in excess of 20-years’ experience working within Occupational Health and assessing the ill or injured worker. The course provides both theoretical knowledge and the opportunity to participate in practical sessions.
